Frequently Asked Questions

  • Neuroarchitecture is a discipline that combines neuroscience, psychology, and architecture to understand how the built environment affects the human brain, behavior, and well-being.

This field of study is based on research, data collection, and measurement of results, to establish solid principles about how specific design elements influence human health.

    What Neuroarchitecture is NOT

    • A new trendy marketing strategy to increase the selling price of homes.

    • A certification program or checklist of requirements to meet specific standards and get an award.

    • A complicated, over-technical term that sounds good in academia but is difficult to apply in reality.

    • An interior design style.

    It MATTERS because

    • We spend ±90% of our time indoors.

    • Chronic disease and mental disorders are increasing.

    • There is enough scientific evidence to link both facts.

  • Researchers have found that spaces designed with neuro-psychological considerations:

    • Promote healing, rest, and recovery from illness.

    • Enhance cognition, learning, focus, productivity, and creativity.

    • Stimulate social interaction and empathy.

    • Improve mood and overall sense of well-being.

    • Reduce fatigue, anxiety, and depression.

  • Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese art and science of creating harmony between people and their environments. For thousands of years, this practice has helped people choose the best location for their dwellings and arrange their spaces to support their health and wealth.

At its core, Feng Shui seeks to enhance positive natural forces while reducing negative ones. Under the influence of vibrant, life-supporting energies, individuals experience greater harmony in relationships and improved health.

When your environment actively brings your balance and well-being, the natural drive to succeed, prosper, and thrive follows.

    What Feng Shui is NOT

Many popular Western interpretations have strayed far from authentic Feng Shui practice and classic Chinese texts.
    These modern versions often:

    • Oversimplify complex ancient teachings.

    • Provide generic "one-size-fits-all" or “DIY” solutions.

    • Focus on decorative objects and esoteric trinkets, rather than energy flow.

    • Offer conflicting or confusing advice.

True Classical Feng Shui is personalized, systematic, and based on precise calculations and formulas — not trendy decorating tips or superstitious rituals. The goal is to create spaces where positive energy flows naturally and supports the unique energy of the person.

Good Feng Shui is not seen — it is felt.

  • Classical Xuan Kong Fei Xing — also known as Flying Star Feng Shui — is the traditional method used by true Masters from the East and around the world… and by me.

XKFX is a dynamic Feng Shui school. It considers time, space, and people to provide highly accurate analysis, diagnosis, and corrections.

I also use the 8 House or Ba Zhai Feng Shui, and the San He Form School.

  • Some schools —Life Aspirations and Black Sect— divide the house in eight locations, each of those associated with one aspect of life: career in the North or front door, fame in the South, wealth in the Southeast, and so on. Fixed areas are equally assigned for all houses. The Bagua is loosely used as one-size-fits-all template. I wonder, why every house is the same? They should not be.

Every home tells a story. Every home is unique, like a living being with its own character, strengths, history and challenges.

My approach is thorough, personalized, deep and rooted in the classical teachings. Human lives are extraordinary and complex, far from simplified categories or templates. And so are their homes.

  • Feng Shui may NOT be the right fit if you:

    • Approach it with fear, seeking a quick fix,

    • Are reluctant to change,

    • Avoid taking responsibility for your life, or

    • Blame external factors for your circumstances.

    However, if you’re ready to:

    • Take ownership of your experiences,

    • Embrace growth and transformation,

    • Unlock your fullest potential, and

    • Live a purposeful, harmonious life

…then you’ve come to the right place.

  • Feng Shui can transform many aspects of your life by creating harmony between you and your environment. It helps you understand your life experiences and how your surroundings influence them.

By making adjustments in your home or workplace, you can experience:

    • Improved Health: A balanced space promotes better sleep, reduced stress, and overall well-being.

    • Enhanced Relationships: Harmonizing your environment fosters stronger connections with loved ones and colleagues.

    • Financial Growth: Aligning your space with positive energy can attract opportunities and prosperity.

    • Increased Focus and Productivity: A well-designed space supports mental clarity and efficient work habits.

    • Personal Evolution: Gain deeper self-awareness and align your environment with your life’s purpose.

    • A Sense of Peace: Experience a sanctuary that nurtures your mind, body and spirit.

With harmony comes the likelihood of better health, wealth, and relationships, empowering you to live your fullest potential.

  • Feng Shui is highly effective when approached with the right knowledge, mindset and commitment. There is no unexplained mystery or superstition involved. It’s not a quick fix or magic solution, but it provides powerful tools to achieve harmony and prosperity.

As my master, Joseph Yu, used to say: “If, after learning Flying Star Feng Shui, there are still situations you cannot handle, then you have not learned it properly.”

Principles don’t fail. However, they must be applied correctly to deliver positive results. That’s why I include support and follow-up sessions with every audit —to ensure the recommended cures are working effectively and to make any necessary adjustments.

My confidence is grounded in years of experience and my clients’ feedback. Read their TESTIMONIALS HERE.

  • You don’t need to move. Even if your home has poor Feng Shui, there are many adjustments and remedies that can be applied to improve the flow of energy. These changes can help you feel better in your space without requiring drastic measures like relocating.
